I make interactive objects and places. They feed off the human artifice: comics, pop, children's stories, folk, everyday things and things of the home. I seek new rituals: play together, defamiliarize neighborhoods, re-define ownership. Come inside of our opponent's sense of time, move in and furnish that time. My non-products are a currency to pay the debt for art in the museum. Rather than yearning for eternity, let us sacrifice the dead letter for living culture. |
